Born from a shared passion for travel, exceptional food, and fine wine, Alex and José launched Kulto in 2021 — a contemporary Spanish restaurant that reimagines tradition through bold, modern flavours. Since then, their vision has grown into a family of chef-driven concepts united by a love for innovation, quality, and community.
In the Hillcrest neighbourhood, Barrio by Kulto offers a more traditional take on Spanish dining. “Barrio” means neighbourhood in Spanish, and true to its name, it’s a warm, convivial space where stories are shared over classic dishes and Spanish wines. Helmed by Chef José Alonso, it’s a celebration of Spain’s rich culinary heritage.
Venturing beyond Spanish cuisine, Cenzo blends Italian tradition with the produce-driven ethos of Australian cooking. Led by Chef Drew Nocente, it’s known for handmade pastas, bold flavours, and a sustainable, farm-to-table approach.
Chicco is a cozy Italian eatery beloved for its artisanal pastas and comforting, flavourful plates served in an approachable setting.
At Nomada, Chef Gonzalo Landin takes guests on a modern culinary journey across Spain, infused with global influences and seasonal ingredients.
Most recently, the group introduced HUMO, a modern Spanish restaurant in Tanjong Pagar helmed by chef Jordi Jou in collaboration with AC Concepts. It’s where Spanish tapas culture meets a Japanese touch — bold, expressive, and refreshingly unpretentious.
Together, these concepts reflect a deep passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences.
